...for development was contracted by Save the Children Sweden to conduct a childs situation analysis in Palestinian Camps in Lebanon, with a special focus on Education and the capacity of civil society to claim and fulfill those rights. The research was based on primary research and secondary research. Interviews with teachers, school administrators and UNRWA representatives, as well as focus groups with children and their parents represented the main source of information gathered for the study. A desk review of resources related to the educational situation of children in Palestine completed the study. The situation analysis includes practical recommendations.
