تعمل “…، للتنمية، ش.م” منذ بدايتها على دعم منظمات المجتمع المدني حديثة الانطلاق وتلك التي تحتاج إلى تمكين في أي مجال من المجالات، بشكل تطوعي هدفه الأول والأساس الحرص على بناء مجتمع مدني قوامه منظمات قادرة على إحداث التغيير سواءً عبر طواقمها أو عبر القضايا التي تطرحها وتعمل على مناصرتها والدفاع عنها.

Date: July 2006 – February 2007
Location: Beirut- Lebanon
Employer: The Gathering of NGO’s on Relief in Lebanon (74 NGO’s at cease fire time)
Description: – Coordinating between the NGOs of the Gathering.- Representing the Gathering in meetings with other relief actors (intl NGO’s, UN agencies, Lebanese Gov bodies, other Govs bodies) working on the ground and coordinating with them.

– Setting up an internal structure in the Gathering and systems and procedures.

– Initiating, designing and conducting surveys and needs assessment, and provisioning information on the situation.

– Developign follow-up internal and external reports.

– Providing human, financial and material resources for the Gathering and channeling it as necessary and needed.

– Overlooking the accounting and procurement of the common pool.

Services Provided/ Deliverable/s – Provisioning food and non food items (hygiene, accommodation, clothes and children care items),- Providing medical aid and prevention procedures,

– Providing educational, recreational and social activities, and psychological support,

– Organizing  Internally Displaced People (IDP’s) committees,

– Purchasing and distributing food and medical supplies,

– Fundraising in and outside Lebanon,

– Recruiting volunteers,

– Advocating and lobbying against the war.

Services Provided/ Deliverable Designing and Implementing two workshops (4 days each) on: Conflict Transformation, Non violence culture and Communication Skills for Arab Youth Groups.

Description: Ajial Center is an initiative aiming at developing and strengthening Palestinian youth capacities and enabling them to be agents of change within their environment.

Volunteering Days An average of 12 to 15 days every year in the form of training, facilitation and provision of technical opinion.

Description: Contribute to the LPHU national campaign in advocating for the enactment of the Lebanese law 220/2000
Services Provided/ Deliverable …For Development conducted 3 training days with active handicapped youth in the Bekaa and Beirut regions in order to empower them with effective advocacy and community mobilizing tools necessary to their campaigning.

Description: The Imam Sadr Foundation initiated a new vocational study on social animation. Following a three year curriculum, students will get to have an official vocational high school degree in social animation. (Bacc II)

-Developing the curriculum,

-Covering tuition for one student,

-Providing technical support,

-Developing a poster and a brochure to use in promoting the course
